Enabling subtitles on Encoded Media IPTV set-top boxes

Your Encoded Media IPTV set-top box can display Subtitles when the feature is enabled from within the set-top box on-screen display (OSD).

This is a simple, three step process as outlined below:

To enable Subtitles

  1. Press the Menu button on your set-top box IR remote control.
  2. Highlight the Settings entry and press OK.
  3. Highlight the Turn subtitles ON entry and press OK.

To disable Subtitles

  1. Press the Menu button on your set-top box IR remote control.
  2. Highlight the Settings entry and press OK.
  3. Highlight the Turn subtitles OFF entry and press OK.
Subtitles are available for the majority of Freeview channels, but are not available for channels including Bloomberg, CNBC and CNN.
