Setting server time on a TV Server or HD Encoder

Overview

Internally, every TV Server based appliance maintains time in UTC, but users are able to set a local time zone manually.

Procedure

Platform 4.x and later products
  1. Log into the web administration interface
  2. Click Advanced in the left navigation pane and ensure Configuration is selected
  3. Expand the Advanced group box in the right pane
  4. Tap the Set Server Time button at the bottom
Platform 3.x
  1. Log into the web administration interface
  2. Click Options in the left navigation pane and ensure Configuration is selected
  3. Expand the Time and Date group box in the right pane
  4. Tap the Set Server Time button
Platform 2.x
  1. Log into the web administration interface
  2. Click Configuration in the left navigation pane
  3. Tap the Set Server Time button in the Time and Date group box
When you have made your changes, press OK to save them.
