Using Video Publisher with TV Server or HD Encoder

Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure you've installed Video Publisher and have activated the program with the correct licence for this task.

Software Configuration

On the top toolbar, select Recordings:

When the Recordings screen opens, tap Click to add a Remote Server:

On the Add Server dialog, provide a descriptive name for the connection you are creating. Ensure that Video Library Server is the selected Server Type, then paste the IP address of the TV Server or HD Encoder appliance in question into the Server Address field. Be sure to provide the correct Username and Password for the appliance then tap OK:

Back on the Recordings screen, selecting the server entry you defined in the steps above will allow you to see all the recordings on the device:

These items can be dragged and dropped to the local drive for editing.
